GLOBAL PEOPLE LIMITED offers the expertise and experience of their personnel to governments, universities, hospitals, NGOs, development projects and community groups: To provide services that assist nation building and to build relationships that enhance international cross-cultural understanding. GPL professional personnel are all volunteers who are supported by philanthropic people of good will who have a whole-world view, and want to see Australian professionals using their skills in strategic development work and enhancing international understanding.

The work of GLOBAL PEOPLE LIMITED is to:

  1. Make known opportunities for professionals to work in other countries
  2. Assess the suitability of applicants
  3. Negotiate the appointment and job description on behalf of professionals, as appropriate
  4. Provide advice and counselling support for professionals and their families, and debriefing on return to Australia
  5. Train Australians in cross-cultural awareness to prepare them for their location
  6. Supplement the salary of a GPL professional as necessary to allow the person to continue serving in a strategic role
  7. Arrange health care, banking and other administrative back-up as needed
  8. Arrange travel to and from the place of assignment
  9. GPL personnel engage regularly in fundraising in Australia on behalf of GLOBAL PEOPLE LIMITED.
